Job summary

Cancer Research UK is hiring a Retail Store Manager for the Sutton shop. You will lead a diverse team of paid staff and volunteers, recruit, develop and motivate them, and take ownership of merchandising, stock, store standards and layout.

You will drive commercial performance with cost controls and sales, deliver excellent customer and supporter service, build community links, and ensure compliance with health and safety and HR policies. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week).

• Flexibility, our retail teams cover the needs of their stores by working on a rota basis.

• There will be a varied amount of manual handling and physical activity required within the day-to-day duties of the role.

To support your training and development in this role, you will spend 4 weeks in a training shop, learning from a Training Shop Manager, this may be at a different location to the role you applied for.
