Job summary

B&Q is seeking an experienced Store Manager Designate for South Wales, based in Cwmbran, with a 36.75-hour week and a permanent contract. You will train across stores and prepare to lead your own department or store.

You’ll motivate teams, drive customer service excellence and implement new ways of working while travelling across stores within 50 miles of your home location. A pathway for progression is provided within a supportive network.

As a B&Q designate manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about us and our business, typically spend 3-6 months working across a cluster of stores (in South Wales). You’ll experience management training in various store formats before being placed into your own department or store.

Due to the nature of this role, there’ll be some flexibility and travel required during your time as a designate, before being placed within a store that matches your experience within 50 miles of where you live.
