Job summary

B&Q is seeking a Store Manager Designate based in Cwmbran with training across stores in South Wales. The role is 36.75 hours per week, permanent, and duties include leading with a focus on customer service and store performance.

You’ll spend 3–6 months across a cluster of stores before placement in your own department or store, with travel within ~50 miles of home. Competitive package includes up to £55,800 salary, bonus, pension, private medical insurance and generous holiday.

As a B&Q designate manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about us and our business, typically spending 3-6 months working across a cluster of stores (in South Wales). You’ll experience management training in various store formats before being placed into your own department or store.

Due to the nature of this role, there’ll be some flexibility and travel required during your time as a designate, before being placed within a store that matches your experience within 50 miles of where you live.
