A leading retail company is seeking a Store Manager for a new store in Cardiff set to open in November 2025. The successful candidate will lead and motivate a team, ensuring excellent customer service and achieving sales targets while upholding brand values. The Role

This time, we’re looking for a Store Manager to work in our new store in Cardiff, opening in November 2025!
What you will be doing
The Store Manager will lead, motivate, and coach the store team to reach and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and compliance standards using our training tools—while ensuring exceptional customer service and product knowledge. You’ll recruit, nurture, and retain top talent for CT and your store. You’ll promote the CT culture with your team, embodying our brand values to create a great atmosphere for both staff and customers.
You will identify sales opportunities, generate corporate activity, and attract new business. Building strong relationships with peers and Head Office departments, you will handle all matters related to the store and team, including stock control, payroll, budgeting, layout, promotions, staff development, and employee relations.
You will make commercial decisions to support the store, particularly in visual merchandising, working with our VM team to ensure visuals reflect our brand identity. As the store leader, you will manage daily operations, champion colleague engagement, and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, costs, and security protocols.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Store Manager, with a proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing teams to achieve excellent results.
You should have excellent customer service and relationship-building skills with customers and stakeholders.
Strong planning and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain a long-term vision.
A highly commercial mindset, coupled with strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, is necessary to influence and persuade at various levels within and outside the company.
