Evans Cycles is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our store, drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage a dedicated cycling team, oversee stock, merchandising and safety, and ensure a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

The role emphasizes leadership, people development and achieving targets, with a focus on cycling passion and high service standards in a retail setting.

As a Store Manager at Evans Cycles, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team of dedicated cycling enthusiasts, and driving sales growth. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cycling enthusiasts to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer enjoys a positive and memorable shopping experience by providing expert advice and assistance.
• Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Visual Merchandising: Maintain an attractive and well-organized store layout that showcases our products effectively.
• Sales and Performance: Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
• Training and Development: Continuously train and develop your team's product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and staff by following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably in the cycling or outdoor sports industry.
• A passion for cycling
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory management and visual merchandising.
