The Role...
The role of Store Manager within Wickes is essential — this means the potential is high, as is the opportunity for growth. We expect that you’ll already be a great leader with a proven track record of bringing your team along with you. You'll be excellent at managing your workload and prioritizing safety for yourself and others. You’ll be customer-centric, ensuring each customer has a great shopping experience and that you approach your work with a winning mindset. Your responsibilities will include organizing and working with your team to achieve targets, motivating colleagues, and serving customers to ensure they get the right products for their needs, while keeping promotions up to date and stock levels optimal.
About you...
We are looking for someone who is (or has been) an experienced store manager within a retail environment. A proactive, can-do spirit is essential in retail and is non-negotiable for us! We want candidates who understand the financial aspects of the business — previous KPI experience and working towards targets are a must. Additionally, we seek individuals who know how to recruit great team members — you can spot potential and work with individuals to develop their talents.
