We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Store Manager to take full ownership of the performance, people and day-to-day leadership of our store.

As the senior leader of the store, you will operate the business with a strong commercial mindset, translating company strategy and local market opportunities into clear plans that drive sustainable sales growth, profitability, customer experience and team performance. You will lead the Assistant Store Manager and wider management team, creating a high-performance culture with clear accountability, strong talent development and consistently high operational and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take overall accountability for store sales, profitability, customer experience, people, product, operations and compliance.
  • Partner with the Area Manager to establish store sales targets, profitability expectations and key business objectives.
  • Develop and execute a clear store business strategy based on historical performance, trading trends, customer behaviour and future market opportunities.
  • Analyse sales, conversion, UPT, AUP, sell-through, payroll and other key performance indicators and translate insights into effective commercial actions.
  • Take ownership of store P&L, balancing sales growth, payroll, inventory, operating costs and productivity to maximise profitability.
  • Anticipate changes in customer demand, seasonality, local events and market conditions and develop forward-looking commercial and operational plans.
  • Maintain overall accountability for product performance, inventory productivity and the full product cycle from delivery and launch through trading, rotation and exit.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and product presentation support both brand standards and commercial performance.
  • Establish a strong customer-first selling culture, with clear expectations around customer engagement, styling, product knowledge, cross-selling and upselling.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Assistant Store Manager and wider management team, building strong succession and future leadership capability.
  • Set clear expectations, delegate effectively and hold managers accountable for performance, execution and team development.
  • Lead the store's people strategy, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, retention, succession planning and talent development.
  • Take overall responsibility for workforce planning, store structure, scheduling, payroll productivity and management coverage.
  • Maintain strong operational and financial controls across cash management, inventory, loss prevention, store facilities and day-to-day store operations.
  • Ensure the store operates safely and in compliance with company policies, Health & Safety requirements and applicable local regulations.
  • Build strong partnerships with Area Management and cross-functional teams including HR, Operations, VM, Buying, Merchandising, IT and Maintenance.
  • Identify risks and opportunities early, take ownership of store-level issues and ensure they are followed through to effective resolution.
What We're Looking For:
  • Significant Store Manager or senior retail management experience, ideally within fashion or high-volume retail.
  • Strong commercial and financial judgement with a good understanding of retail P&L.
  • Proven ability to drive sales, profitability, conversion and productivity.
  • Strong understanding of fashion retail product cycles, inventory and commercial merchandising.
  • Experience leading and developing managers and building high-performing retail teams.
  • Strong forecasting, business planning and analytical capability.
  • Ability to translate performance data and market insight into clear commercial strategy and action.
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, payroll management and operational efficiency.
  • Confidence managing performance, making difficult decisions and holding teams accountable.
  • Strong customer, product, fashion and competitor awareness.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • High levels of ownership, integrity, professionalism and accountability.
  • This is a senior store leadership opportunity for an experienced retail leader who is comfortable operating a store as a complete business and taking full ownership of its commercial performance, profitability, people and long-term development.
