The Role

The Site Manager's role is to maximize site performance by improving customer satisfaction, boosting productivity, controlling personnel costs, maintaining stock accuracy, and minimizing wastage. You will foster a positive environment, develop and train your team, and ensure operations are safe, legal, and compliant.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily site operations.
  • Lead your team, collaborate with the multi-site manager to meet company goals, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Uphold Deliveroo values and ensure your team embodies them.
  • Develop, train, and motivate staff to meet targets.
  • Achieve operational KPIs and seek continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs through supervision and coaching.
  • Manage costs within budgets, including Opex, maintenance, utilities, and labor.
  • Maintain accurate operational and financial records.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and space management.
  • Ensure health & safety and food safety regulations are followed, including training and accountability.
  • Supervise timekeeping and staffing levels.
  • Conduct health & safety audits and participate in meetings.
  • Monitor customer feedback and seek improvement opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with restaurant partners and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve operations and participate in projects.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of junior management experience in food & beverage, ideally in restaurants.
  • Adaptability and openness to change.
  • Proven ability to influence KPIs.
  • Commercial awareness to grow order volume and GMV.
  • Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health & safety standards.
  • Experience leading a team of several direct reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable with numbers (Looker experience preferred).
  • Positive attitude, eager to grow with Deliveroo.
  • Right to work in the country.
  • Willingness to work weekends as required.
