Job summary

SandpiperCI Limited is seeking a Store Manager for Card Factory in St Helier, Jersey. You will lead the store team to deliver business objectives, maximise profitability, and provide exceptional customer service within a compliant, safe environment.

The role requires steering operations, merchandising, training, and staff development to meet brand standards. You will oversee scheduling, stock control, and performance management, ensuring the store looks presentable and achieves sales targets

Qualifications

• Good general education.
• First Aid at Work certificate (preferred).
• Customer service skills and leadership ability.
• Strong time-management and coaching skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patience.
• Ability to receive feedback and work autonomously.
• Experience managing a retail team and achieving targets.
• Familiarity with store operations and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team and drive overall store performance.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and brand standards.
• Manage budgets, stock, and till operations per policy.
• Plan staffing, training, and development for team members.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and store cleanliness.
• Communicate brand direction and motivate staff to achieve targets.
• Monitor stock levels, merchandising, and promotions.
• Report store performance and respond to audits and feedback.
