Job summary

B&M Retail is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to support the Store Manager and lead on the shop floor across a fast-paced, high turnover environment. You’ll step up to run the store in the manager’s absence and drive performance with your team.

This hands-on leadership role requires flexibility across days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with clear opportunities for progression to Store Manager as you grow.

• Strong team player with the confidence to lead.
• Passion for coaching and developing others.
• Pride in delivering a great customer experience and high standards.
• Hands-on attitude to get involved across the store.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in driving sales, performance and store standards.
• Take ownership of the shop floor, leading by example every day.
• Step up to run the store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Lead, coach and motivate your team to deliver their best.
• Drive KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance.
