Job summary

Toolstation is seeking a Senior Store Assistant for a 20-hour role in our Peterlee store. You’ll be the friendly face in-store, help customers, handle deliveries, stock shelves and support opening and closing duties.

Local candidates who can commute and adapt to busy mornings and evenings will fit best. Training and development through the Toolstation Academy are available as you grow with Travis Perkins.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable, with strong customer service mindset.
• Reliable and punctual with a can-do attitude.
• Proactive, takes ownership and is capable of stepping up when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and provide great service on the shop floor.
• Handle deliveries, unpack stock and stock shelves.
• Open and close the store; assign daily tasks and supervise when needed.
• Support colleagues to deliver a great customer experience during busy times.
• Promote Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts to customers and sign them up.
