Job summary

Hello Bedford-based Tapi Carpets & Floors is seeking a super-organised customer service enthusiast to join our store operations. You’ll be at the heart of the business, ensuring smooth day-to-day activity, greeting customers, processing orders, and keeping the store running efficiently with Tapi charm.

You’ll work with a friendly team, handle stock, liaise with suppliers, and help push orders to completion while maintaining our 5-star Trustpilot standard.

Qualifications

• Must be super organised and able to manage store operations smoothly.
• A confident, presentable person who communicates clearly with customers and colleagues.
• You are efficient, conscientious and take pride in delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Control all administrative activities across the store.
• Work with your team to wow customers at every turn.
• Assist customers as they enter the store and greet them warmly.
• Provide top-notch service for orders, post-sales questions and escalations when needed.
• Keep orders on track, liaise with suppliers, fitters and estimators.
• Oversee diaries of Home Consultants, Estimators and Fitting partners.
• Maintain control of cash and daily banking.
• Communicate with customers to update on orders with Tapi charm.
• Undertake weekly stock takes and audits.
