Job summary

JD Sports Fashion is seeking a Store Colleague to deliver an outstanding customer experience on the shop floor, greet customers confidently, keep displays sharp, replenish stock, and uphold our high service and presentation standards.

In a fast-paced retail environment you’ll work with colleagues to meet sales targets, process transactions, and follow company procedures, health and safety rules, and brand guidelines. Based in Wishaw, this role offers staff discounts and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.
