Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring a Plain Clothed Security Personnel (Store Detective) on a full-time basis across multiple locations in the UK. The role focuses on spotting and deterring theft, while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Position requires sharp observation, quick thinking, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A full UK driving licence is preferred, and training opportunities are available within Mitie’s flexible benefits framework.

• Valid SIA SG DS or CP licence preferred; support available to obtain.
• Full UK driving licence preferable.

• Observe and apprehend shop thieves within legal and safety limits.
