Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring in-store colleagues in Scotland. Availability windows guide contracted hours with shifts across the week. You will provide friendly, efficient service, help customers, and support shelves, checkout, and online order picking as part of an inclusive team.

Pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores. A minimum of 16 hours weekly is guaranteed, with some locations offering 12-hour roles. You will work within available shifts and must be over 18 to apply.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.
