Job summary

JD Sports in Wood Green is seeking a Store Colleague to help deliver an outstanding customer experience on the shop floor. You will greet customers confidently, keep displays sharp, replenish stock, and maintain high service standards to support daily store operations.

You will work with a positive attitude and strong teamwork to support effective day-to-day running and ensure the store reflects JD Sports’ high standards of presentation and service.

Qualifications

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers and provide product information when needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility in handling customer needs and store demands.
• Maintain presentation and cleanliness of fixtures, displays, and stock areas.
• Support stock replenishment and ensure products are correctly displayed.
• Handle everyday store operations including transactions and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.
