Job summary

Lidl GB is hiring a Cleaner to help maintain a clean, welcoming store and uphold hygiene standards. You will operate cleaning tasks, manage waste areas, and support shop operations while respecting health and safety guidelines.

We offer a competitive hourly rate (£14.80–£14.90), 35 hour contract, 30–35 days holiday pro rata, pension, and staff discounts. Training and career growth are available in a diverse, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance.
• Hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail.
• Driven and independent to carry out tasks.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly maintain your store to keep it looking its very best.
• Keep trolley bays, car park, and outside spaces clean and tidy.
• Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
• Clean welfare area, including toilets, waste and recycling sections.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Proactively ensure hygiene, Health and Safety standards are upheld.
