Booths is hiring a Store Cleaner for Ilkley, on Leeds Road, to support store cleanliness and standards. The position is part-time, 6 hours per week, with one weekend day required and a shift pattern designed to cover busy periods.

The role notes a rate of £12.80 per hour for eligible staff and a closing date of 30/10/26. Successful candidates will maintain store and back areas in line with Health and Safety regulations, contributing to a welcoming shopping environment.

Rate: £12.80

Location: Leeds Road, Ilkley, West Yorkshire, LS29 8EE

Hours: 6 hours per week

ContractType: Permanent

Working pattern

This is a part time position with a contract of 6 hours per week. This role will require working one weekend day.

As part of your contract, we ask for availability that is, as a minimum, one and a half times your weekly hours. For example, if you were on a 10-hour contract, we would ask for 15 hours of availability. This doesn’t mean you will work 15 hours (unless there is overtime available, and this may be offered to you) but your shifts may be placed anywhere within the availability you provide. This helps us build fair, consistent rotas, and ensures we can meet customer demand across the week. With this role being in Retail, you must also be available to work one late night and one weekend day per week.

You will have 2 weeks’ notice of when your shifts will be. If you can’t exactly match the hours and days we are looking for, this can be discussed. We are always happy to hear from you.

The Role

To ensure all areas of the store are cleaned and maintained to company standards and statutory regulations. Successful Candidate will keep our store and back areas complaint with Health and Safety Law.
