Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring store colleagues in the United Kingdom. You will provide friendly service, support across store duties, and help customers with products and services. Availability windows guide your shifts, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and opportunity for 12+ hours in some locations.

The role offers flexible working and a welcoming, inclusive environment as part of a large retail team. Pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, with additional payments

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success
