Job summary

Barnardo's in Carlisle is seeking a Store Associate to support the store manager with day-to-day operations, deliver excellent customer service and help maximise sales and profit. The role is part-time, on-site, with full training and development opportunities and a clear path to promotion.

You will be well organized with strong communication skills and ready to learn how to lead a small team in the manager's absence, in a supportive charity retail environment.

As a Store Associate you will support the manager with all aspects of running a busy store, and step up to supervise in their absence, covering days off or holiday leave. It's the best of both worlds as you will have responsibilities but also the chance to develop and learn with an experienced store manager by your side. You'll need to be well organised with great communication skills and ready to learn how to lead your team of colleagues in store to maximise sales and profit and meet your stores targets.
