Job summary

Aston & Fincher is seeking a Store Assistant in Hull to help customers find products, process sales and keep the store well stocked and presentable. You will assist with deliveries, replenish shelves and maintain merchandising standards to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, reliability and a proactive approach to daily tasks within a busy hair and beauty store environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick customers' orders and serve customers with a friendly approach.
• Stock is kept clean, correctly priced and on-shelf.
• Operate till and process sales and invoices.
• Receive deliveries and book in stock.
• Merchandise and manage promotions in-store.
• Maintain store standards and stock accuracy.
• Assist with deliveries and dispatches as required.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Store Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products they desire and to support the store team to ensure the smooth running of the store in accordance with company procedures. Store Assistant duties include selling, restocking, and merchandising. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company's growth and revenue through sales maximisation. You will be responsible for picking customers' orders and products, to serve and help all customers, keeping shelves well stocked with products, whilst ensuring the store is kept clean and presentable at all times.,

Responsibilities

• Pick customers order
• Ensure all products are clean and correctly priced
• Stock is put out on shelf to company procedures
• Count stock accurately
• Use of till / Retailer
• Pack all orders in-line with the company procedures
• Assist and arrange for items to be dispatched
• Answering the phone
• Invoicing of orders through our till system
• Keep up to date with all promotional activity
• Merchandising within the company guidelines
• Book in all deliveries
• Build on customer telephone orders
• Assist with deliveries of stock coming into store
• Transfer stock in / out to stores/suppliersTo help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• To make deliveries to salons within your area when necessary
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers' needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Manage point-of-sale processes
• Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments
