wienerberger UK & Ireland is seeking a Stockyard Team Leader for the Goxhill site in North Lincolnshire. You will lead a small team in a practical, hands-on role, ensuring training and safe operation of machinery while supporting haulage, packing and distribution activities.

The role requires previous team leadership experience, a valid forklift license, and a proactive, organised approach. The site offers weekly pay and opportunities for overtime and progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Stockyard Team Leader or similar.
• Current RTITB/ITSSAR/NPORS or CPCS forklift license with recent driving.
• Experience leading a team in manufacturing.
• Good maths and IT skills.
• Organised, reliable and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Stockyard team with a hands-on approach.
• Ensure team trained to operate machinery (FLT, heat guns) and maintain records.
• Coordinate with haulage partners, customers and field sales.
• Work with distribution teams for timely picking, packing and wrapping.
• Maintain housekeeping to PIP targets and report concerns.
• Foster continuous improvement across the team and wider business.

Join us as a Stockyard Team Leader at our Goxhill site in North Lincolnshire

Wienerberger Ltd manufactures and provides wall, roof and landscaping products for the construction sector. We offer innovative and sustainable solutions across the whole building envelope for new build, renovation projects and across the building industry.

As Stockyard Team Leader, you will lead and motivate a small team through a practical and hands on approach.

Duties Also Include

• Ensure that the Stockyard team have been fully trained to operate machinery (including FLT’s and heat shrink guns) whilst maintaining training records
• Lead your team in providing a helpful and efficient service to our haulage partners, customers and field sales
• Work closely with distribution teams to facilitate the timely picking, packing and wrapping of all products prior to collection
• Orchestrating the team structure ensuring that each team/member have an equal share of responsibilities
• Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping in accordance with our PIP targets, highlighting any concerns using the quality and hazard reporting process
• Encourage and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the team and contribute to improvements across the wider business.
• Continually challenge the status quo to drive further improvements

This site produces roof tiles, supporting our manufacturing of high‑quality building materials across the UK.

This position is based at our Goxhill site, which is near to Barrow-Upon-Humber, Barton-Upon-Humber and East Halton, easily commutable from Scawby, Grimsby, Immingham, and Hessle.

Due to the site location, it is accessible by personal vehicles only. Free parking is available.

Hours of Work: 7.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

About You

• Previous experience working as a Stockyard Team Leader or similar
• Current / valid RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or CPCS forklift truck license with recent driving experience within the last six months
• Previous experience of managing and leading a team
• Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good mathematical skills
• Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written
• Must be organised, efficient and reliable
• Adaptable / flexible approach
• Must be literate as there is some paperwork involved
• An understanding of QA standards and the importance of consistent high quality in manufacturing
• Good general safety awareness

• £13.25 - £16.23 per hour (depending on experience)
• Team Leader Allowance: £100 per week
