Job summary

ADIDAS is seeking a part-time Stockroom Assistant in Glasgow to help process deliveries, maintain stock accuracy and support store merchandising. The role emphasizes friendly customer service and brand representation on the shop floor.

You will join a team focused on keeping stock organized, replenishing shelves, and contributing to sales goals while upholding Adidas standards and policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1–2 months in sports/fashion retail focused on customer & commercial aspects
• Basic numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills
• Stockroom experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Process deliveries in a timely manner
• Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards and replenish sales floors
• Work to store and individual targets using available resources
• Meet or exceed customer expectations and boost sales and Brand experience via adidas customer service model
• Be an adidas Brand ambassador with enthusiasm
• Incorporate basic core and seasonal product knowledge into service within assigned zones
• Maintain an appealing, easy-to-shop environment through visual merchandising and housekeeping
• Comply with store policies to ensure safe shopping and working environment
• Ensure product availability by assisting with deliveries and replenishment
• Collaborate with team to meet or exceed store goals
• Complete compulsory training and apply learnings on the job
• Show willingness to learn and take opportunities to improve performance
• Deputise for stockroom manager when required

PURPOSE & IMPACT ON ORGANIZATION:

Contributes to meeting or exceeding store sales and KPI targets by:

• Working as part of the Stockroom team in order to ensure all stock is tagged, size cubed and stored in the correct place, on time and to Company standards

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all deliveries are processed in a timely manner
• Maintain high standards of merchandising and housekeeping at all times and carry out replenishment of sales floors within areas of responsibility
• Is aware of store and individual targets and actively works to meet or exceed these by using all the resources available within the store
• Meets or exceeds customer expectations and boosts sales and Brand experience by using appropriate elements of the adidas customer service model
• Creates an emotional connection with every customer by being a passionate and enthusiastic adidas Brand ambassador
• Proactively seeks and incorporates basic core and seasonal product knowledge into his/her service approach within his/her assigned store zone(s)
• Maintains an appealing, easy-to-shop environment for customers by consistently executing visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
• Complies with store policies and procedures to maintain a safe shopping and working environment
• Ensures the product offer in the store is made available to customers by assisting with deliveries and replenishing the sales floor
• Collaborates productively and respectfully with team members to meet or exceed store goals
• Completes all compulsory training programs and effectively transfers learning into skills on the job
• Communicates a desire for ongoing learning and welcomes all available opportunities to increase performance
• Deputise for the stockroom manager in their absence

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferably between 1-2 months working in a sports/fashion customer & commercial focused retail environment
• Basic numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills
• Stockroom experience desirable

*This is a part time role 12/18 hours per week over 3 days.
