Job summary

NEXT is seeking a Delivery Manager in Wakefield to lead a team responsible for outstanding stock processing and stockroom organisation, ensuring operational efficiency, safety and that performance targets are met.

You will work hands-on with the team, support sales floors and store management, and drive a positive, high‑performing culture. The role offers flexible working options and shifts totaling 22 hours per week: Mon 15:00–19:00, Wed 08:30–16:30, Thu 08:00–11:00, Fri 08:30–16:30.

• Experience in leading, coaching and motivating a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to deliver outstanding stock processing and stockroom organisation in a commercial, operationally efficient and safe environment.
• Demonstrate a hands-on approach by working alongside the team and supporting the sales floors and store management when needed.
• Create an atmosphere that motivates and inspires the team to perform at their best.
• Ensure smooth stockroom processes by continuously improving and solving problems to uphold high standards.
• Ensure presented stock is available to customers as quickly as possible.
