Job summary

Big C is looking for a part-time Stock Assistant for our Diss shop in the Victoria Centre Retail Park. You will work 7 hours on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm, handling and sorting donated items and helping to keep the shop stocked and welcoming for customers.

The role involves lifting and moving donations, with pay set by age: £12.71/hr (21+), £10.85/hr (18-20), or £8.00/hr (<18). This is a community-focused position within a regional cancer charity, offering valuable experience and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move donated items safely.
• Willingness to sort and process donations.
• Good communication and teamwork in a retail charity setting.

Responsibilities

• Accept, handle and sort donations to keep the sorting room organised.
• Support stock replenishment and assist customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Work 7 hours on Saturdays (9am–5pm) and comply with shop procedures.
