Job summary

Selfridges & Co is seeking a Stock Operative in London. You will ensure stock is accounted for in the loading bay and store, manage intake and distribution of deliveries, and keep paperwork up to date while solving problems on the move.

You’ll work with colleagues to receive deliveries within timelines, unload and process items efficiently, and follow safety and security practices at all times. The role requires diligent eye for detail and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Support with organising and prioritising deliveries to ensure timely processing
• Collaborate with teams to collect stock and prepare items for dispatch
• Keep records up to date for stock movements
• Maintain a clear loading dock and keep back of house areas clear
• Manage movement of stock between locations
• Support peak periods with forklift and machinery operations
• Communicate with stakeholders about deliveries and issues
• Distribute deliveries to designated areas
