Job summary

Selfridges Trafford is seeking a Seasonal Stock Operative to help manage stock in the loading bay and store. You will handle intake and distribution of deliveries, tidy paperwork, and work with colleagues to ensure deliveries are received and processed efficiently.

The role requires good organisation, clear communication with stakeholders, and the ability to move stock safely. This is a busy, hands-on position with varied hours during the season.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control or warehouse roles is desirable.
• Ability to follow safety and security practices at all times.
• Good numeracy and paperwork management.

Responsibilities

• Organise and prioritise deliveries to ensure on-time receipt and correct department delivery.
• Collaborate with B&M on RTW/RTVs and prepare stock for dispatch.
• Keep records up to date for stock movements.
• Maintain a clear loading dock and keep back-of-house areas clear.
• Move stock between locations as needed.
• Inform stakeholders about incoming deliveries and delays.
• Distribute deliveries to designated store areas.
