Job summary

Selfridges in London is looking for a Stock Operative to ensure stock is accounted for in the loading bay and store. You will manage intake and distribution of deliveries and maintain up-to-date paperwork, using your initiative to resolve problems.

The role requires efficient collaboration with colleagues to receive deliveries within the required time frame. This is a full-time position where you will keep records current, maintain a clear loading dock, assist with moving stock between

Responsibilities

• Organise and prioritise deliveries to ensure timely reception and correct department allocation.
• Collaborate with teams to collect stock and prepare items for dispatch.
• Keep stock movement records up to date.
• Maintain a clear loading dock and keep back-of-house areas clear.
• Move stock between locations.
• Support forklift and machinery operation during peak periods.
• Communicate with stakeholders about deliveries, delays, or missing items.
• Distribute deliveries to designated areas.
