Job summary

DFDS in Grimsby is seeking a Stock Controller to help keep goods moving on a busy operation. You’ll check trailers, verify stock, label pallets, and use handheld terminals (HHT) and T20 equipment to maintain accurate stock records.

Working on a 4 on 4 off shift (06:00–18:00), you’ll support warehouse processes, stay safety-focused, and thrive both independently and in a team. The role offers a range of benefits when you join DFDS.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control.
• Familiar with HHT systems and T20 equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and team player.

Responsibilities

• Checking off trailers and verifying stock against paperwork.
• Moving and splitting stock as required.
• Labelling pallets accurately for storage and dispatch.
• Using handheld terminals (HHT) and T20 equipment for stock control.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and reporting discrepancies.
• Supporting general warehouse duties when needed.
• Working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
