Job summary

SIG Insulation & Drylining, part of SIG Plc, is seeking a Stock Controller at the Eurocentral branch. You will manage stock records, run counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure product availability for customers.

The role requires warehouse experience, attention to detail, and strong teamwork with Warehouse, Sales, and Transport colleagues. The company offers a supportive environment with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Strong eye for detail and accuracy.

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock integrity at all times.
• Carry out regular stock counts, cycle counts, and participate in annual stock takes.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, overages, and system variances.
• Monitor daily stock movements, including goods received, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Ensure goods receipts are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review stock status reports and take appropriate action to maintain stock accuracy and availability.
• Monitor unprocessed purchase orders and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Work closely with Warehouse, Sales, and Transport teams to ensure excellent customer service and product availability.
• Analyse stock levels and identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock.
• Assist with demand planning and replenishment activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health & safety, and compliance.

Stock Controller

To maintain accurate stock records and ensure the efficient management of inventory within the Eurocentral branch. The Stock Controller is responsible for monitoring stock movements, investigating discrepancies, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring stock availability to meet customer demand.

What you will be doing:

What you will bring:

• Previous stock control, inventory, warehouse administration, or logistics experience.
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Good understanding of stock control processes and inventory management principles.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a warehouse environment.
