Job summary

SIG Insulation & Drylining, a leading UK supplier of specialist building materials, is recruiting a Stock Controller for our Eurocentral branch. You will maintain accurate stock records and ensure efficient inventory management to meet customer demand.

You will monitor stock movements, perform regular counts, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with Warehouse, Sales and Transport teams to guarantee product availability and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous stock control, inventory, or warehouse administration experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Good understanding of stock control processes and inventory management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock integrity at all times.
• Carry out regular stock counts, cycle counts, and participate in annual stock takes.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, overages, and system variance.
• Monitor daily stock movements, including goods received, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Ensure goods receipts are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review stock status reports and take action to maintain accuracy and availability.
• Monitor unprocessed purchase orders and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Work with Warehouse, Sales, and Transport teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Analyse stock levels and identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock.
• Assist with demand planning and replenishment activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health & safety, and compliance.

Stock Controller

To maintain accurate stock records and ensure the efficient management of inventory within the Eurocentral branch. The Stock Controller is responsible for monitoring stock movements, investigating discrepancies, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring stock availability to meet customer demand
