Job summary

Culina’s Great Bear site in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated Stock Controller to safeguard stock accuracy across receiving, putaway, picking and despatch.

You will work with the Receipt and Despatch Team, investigate discrepancies, maintain pickfaces, provide traceability, and contribute to daily/weekly reporting; experience with WMS, Autostore is desirable, and strong communication and time-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
• Manage the problem pallet area in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team.
• Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity with checks completed.
• Hold and Release process.
• Provide stock traceability information for recalls and related needs.
• Investigate and report all short shipments.
• Complete daily and weekly reports.
• Handle multi client and multi customer queries.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Other duties such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, email queries and samples.

Job description

As a Stock Controller you will play a vital role in maintaining the stock integrity within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills you will already have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS.,

• Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
• Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
• Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first.
• Hold and Release process.
• Provide stock traceability information as and when required for reasons such as recalls etc.
• Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
• Completion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
• Managing multi client and multi customer queries.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, email queries and samples.
• Previous stock control experience.
• Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
• Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
• Team player who can also work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.

• PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience of Autostore WMS is desirable.
