Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role.
• Confidence with manual handling and physical work throughout the shift.
• FLT Counterbalance licence preferred (but not essential).
• Reliability and punctuality to work the rotating shifts consistently.

• Moving, lifting and positioning large cables safely and efficiently.
• Supporting general warehouse duties such as picking, staging, wrapping and stock movement.
• Using an FLT Counterbalance when required (licence preferred).
• Loading/unloading goods and moving stock to designated locations.
• Following health & safety procedures and safe manual handling at all times.
• Keeping your area clean, tidy, and compliant with site standards.
• Working as part of the wider team to meet daily operational targets.

General Operative

Gi Group is recruiting a General Operative to join a brand-new warehouse in Doncaster for an exciting employer new to the area. This General Operative opportunity is ideal if you enjoy hands-on warehouse work, are confident with manual handling, and want to be part of a new team from day one. If you're looking for a stable role with a rotating shift pattern, this General Operative position could be the right move.

Location: Doncaster

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Shift Pattern (Rotating)

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00

Key Responsibilities

• Moving, lifting and positioning large cables safely and efficiently.

• Using an FLT Counterbalance when required (licence preferred).
• Loading/unloading goods and moving stock to designated locations.
