Job summary

Galaxy Personnel is seeking a Stock Control Administrator for a full-time, 12-week temp-to-perm assignment in Thetford. The role pays £13.54 per hour with overtime (1.5x) after 40 hours, and follows standard shift pattern Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

You will manage inbound bookings, update stock diaries, coordinate goods inwards, despatch orders from the system, handle front desk duties, and support perpetual stock checks, ensuring accurate records within the company quality system.

Qualifications

• Word, Excel and administration skills required.
• Experience with stock control and warehouse admin is preferred.
• Ability to handle inbound bookings and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies, procedures and standards in the quality management system.
• Take inbound bookings and update the bookings diary.
• Coordinate inbound goods process and despatch orders from the system.
• Record customer charges arising from stock movements.
• Enter customer orders into the Chess system and monitor stock shortages report.
• Handle front desk and driver reception.
• Cover logistics administrative duties when required.
• Answer phones promptly and maintain effective communication.
• Support perpetual stock checks and basic filing.
