Job Description

• Undertake inspections of works or servicing on behalf of the council, pre, during, and upon completion/handover.
• Conduct limited stock condition surveys of portfolio properties using existing data or additional stock, recording information via software/hardware.
• Collaborate with the technical services team to develop innovative, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
• Contribute to the council's 'Quality Management Plan.'
• Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing among postholders.
• Provide expert knowledge to influence and achieve strategic goals.
• Participate in lessons learned reviews for projects and ensure improvements are implemented.
• Attend project meetings to monitor progress.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience in roles involving planned works, repairs, voids, refurbishment, or new builds related to housing.
• Experience inspecting works in occupied and unoccupied premises.
• Control of material and workmanship quality during works.
• Ensure works comply with RAMS.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and housing laws, including CDM Regulations.
