Overview

We are seeking a Stock and Admin First Line Manager to join our Northampton team. You will oversee, direct, and monitor the work and performance of all Stock and Admin Clerks on shift to ensure daily functions are completed fully, safely, and accurately. The First Line Manager must always adhere to company values, policies, and procedures.

This role offers a fixed shift pattern from 06:00 to 14:00, any 5 days out of 7.

How you will contribute

  1. Provide daily leadership and direction to a team of Stock & Admin Clerks, ensuring timely task completion.
  2. Lead by example, demonstrating company values.
  3. Monitor team performance using provided tools.
  4. Ensure excellent Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and compliance with all safety procedures.
  5. Adhere to operational SOPs and identify training needs for your team.
  6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and processes.
  7. Liaise with other departments (Warehouse, Customer Service, etc.) to meet objectives.
  8. Identify and address training needs based on individual and operational requirements.
  9. Conduct probation reviews, inductions, 1-1s, and appraisals.
  10. Handle disciplinary investigations and interviews.
  11. Support the adoption of new procedures and technology.

  3. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
