Job summary

Cast UK Limited are recruiting a Stock Analyst for an established global organisation based in Northampton. The role focuses on regular KPI reporting across customer stock holdings within the warehouse, ensuring data accuracy and timely insights.

You will work with internal teams to support stock profiles, job clocking reports, and data extracts using SQL, Excel and PowerBI; standard hours are Monday to Friday 8am–4pm.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel with data validation and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to communicate data clearly to leadership.
• Experience with warehouse/inventory processes.
• Experience with SQL/data extracts and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with WMS systems like CargoWrite or RedPrairie.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports for Inventory, Operations and Senior Management.
• Produce Job Clocking and productivity reporting, identifying trends and exceptions.
• Perform ABC analyses and recommend storage and stock layout improvements.
• Write and improve SQL/data extracts.
• Support system compliance reporting across putaway, storage, picking and inventory checks.
• Develop reporting tools using Excel, SQL, and approved methods to reduce manual work.
• Provide ad-hoc data support to Inventory Team Leaders and Senior Management.
