Job summary

Selfridges & Co is seeking an Allocator to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time, maximizing sales. You will optimise stock flow via auto replenishment and allocation while supporting the merchandising team with regular analyses and communications to buying teams.

Key tasks include stock transfer coordination, monitoring supplier fulfilments, and providing weekly and seasonal insights to inform buying decisions. Strong Excel and familiarity with Retek and Essbase are required.

• Knowledgeable with strong retail knowledge and a solid understanding of merchandising.
• Organised and proactive with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• A proactive communicator who builds strong relationships across teams.

Responsibilities

• Maximise stock availability and stockturn through auto replenishment and allocation.
• Analyse weekly, seasonal and ad-hoc data to inform buyers and merchandisers.
• Coordinate stock transfers between stores and distribution centres and manage RTV deadlines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of department performance, best/worst sellers and competitor activity.
