Job summary

Chewton Glen in New Milton is seeking a Still Room Assistant to support the restaurant team across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner services. You will help prepare stations, brew teas and coffees, and ensure guests are tended to with a friendly, professional attitude.

Ideal candidates are passionate about food and beverage, eager to learn in a fast-paced hospitality setting, and possess attention to detail, good communication, and a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the restaurant and stations are prepared for all services, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
• Be confident in preparing speciality teas, coffees and juices for guests.
• Support the waiting team with ensuring all crockery and utensils are checked and guest ready.
• Take pride in ensuring all tables are cleared and turned around in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support our room service team with transporting and clearing orders.
• Assist the waiting team with carrying trays/orders through to the restaurant for service.
