Job summary

E3 Recruitment is recruiting for several Stick Welders to join a global business based in South Yorkshire, with easy access from nearby towns including Sheffield. The role is Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm, with overtime available and a permanent position after a 3-month trial.

Salary is paid at £17.75 per hour (PAYE), with overtime at premium rates and ongoing development and training provided. Immediate start possible for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Heavy engineering environment experience (steelworks / foundry).
• Ability to repair steel castings.
• Able to use angle grinders.
• Able to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Stick Welder in heavy engineering environments (steelworks / foundry).
• Repair steel castings as required.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare welds and components.

Job description

Due to organic growth, we are recruiting for several Stick Welders to join a Global business that manufacture highly engineering products for the oil & gas, power generation and aerospace & defence markets.

The company is based in South Yorkshire with easy access from surrounding towns and cities such as Barnsley, Chesterfield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, and Worksop.

Standard Working Hours

Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm

In return, the successful Stick Welder will receive:

• PAYE Hourly Rate is £17.75an hour
• Permanent Position after 3months trial.
• Overtime is readily available at premium rates.
• Ongoing development and training.

Ideally, the successful Stick Welder will have:

• Worked in a heavy based engineering environment - steelworks / foundry.
• Repaired Steel Castings.
• Able to use Angle Grinders.
• Able to start ASAP
