Job summary

Sodexo in Warminster is seeking a reliable Steward to join our dining team, delivering high-quality food service while maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and customer satisfaction.

You will work 28 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, with on-the-job training from experienced professionals and fully funded apprenticeship qualifications. A friendly, supportive environment and wellbeing benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of food and beverage service within the dining room.
• Prepare and maintain dining areas before, during and after meal service.
• Set tables and keep the dining environment clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Clear tables efficiently, removing used crockery and debris promptly.
• Replenish condiments and refreshments during service.
• Assist with functions and events when required.
• Support the Head Steward with function preparation.
• Assist with basic food preparation, such as preparing condiments.
• Check crockery, cutlery and service equipment are clean and ready for use.
• Assist with plate washing and general cleaning duties.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH requirements.
• Ensure cleaning materials, chemicals, machinery and equipment are used and stored safely.
• Report equipment defects or concerns to your line manager promptly.
• Maintain company quality and service standards.
• Support colleagues with additional duties as required.

About the role:

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Steward to join our team and support the delivery of a high-quality dining service.
