Hywel Dda University Health Board seeks a self-motivated individual to join the busy Sterile Services Unit at Glangwili General Hospital. The role involves sterilising and delivering instrument sets for ward, theatre, and external customers, with a training mentor provided during induction.

Flexibility for on-call duties is required once fully trained, with a focus on prioritising workloads in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Welsh language ability is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sterile Services or Endoscopy decontamination is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Welsh language ability is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, produce, sterilise and deliver ward and departmental procedure packs and instrument sets.
• Maintain EC Directive 93/42 EEC accreditation by completing relevant documentation.
• Work as part of the Sterile Service team with a training mentor during induction.
• Cover on-call duties on a flexible basis, including bank holidays and weekends as required.
