Aufgaben

• Work to deadlines, assuring the quality and safe use of all instruments and of all equipment that is prepared, prior to sterilisation for all user groups.
• Ensure compliance with required standards, documented procedures and work instructions.
• Stock rotation is carried out and minimum stock levels are maintained as specified on written stock lists.
• Track and trace all equipment through the IT system (Scantrack) and report non-conformances to a Supervisor.
• Prepare and supply adequate sterile supplies to the departments/customers.
• Follow PPE protocols and decontamination procedures in the washroom, clean room and autoclave areas.
• Deliver and collect equipment while maintaining segregation of sterile and contaminated items and ensure correct delivery trolleys are used.
• Assist in training new sterile services staff and ensure quality management system records are completed accurately.
