Job summary

Circle Health Group is hiring a Sterile Services Technician to join the Decontamination department. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible day/night shift pattern.

Responsibilities include cleaning, assembling, sterilising and dispatching instruments, plus strict SOP adherence and traceability. Applicants should show a willingness to learn, teamwork, attention to detail and commitment to safe, high-quality sterile services, including health screening and Hepatitis B

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and undertake training in sterile services practices and equipment use.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow procedures precisely.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends, evenings and shifts.
• Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality sterile services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all stages of the decontamination process including cleaning, checking, assembling, packing, sterilising and dispatching reusable surgical and medical devices.
• Follow SOPs to ensure items meet infection control and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of processes, including batch and load traceability.
• Work with colleagues to ensure team performance and meet deadlines.
• Participate in mandatory training and professional development.
