Job summary

Circle Health Group Decontamination in Bristol is seeking a Sterile Services Technician to join the team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) with a rotating shift pattern including days and nights. The role provides decontamination, packing, sterilisation and delivery of medical equipment to operating theatres and clinical departments.

Responsibilities

• You provide a first-class decontamination sterile service to the Operating Theatres, clinical departments and relevant paramedical departments.
• You assist in the provision of decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation and delivery of medical and surgical equipment and sundry items to/for the customer.
• You maintain good working relationships with all customers.
• You promote and maintain Health & Safety within the department.
• You ensure all equipment is maintained to the required standard of safety, reporting any faults to Team leader/Manager.
• You assist the Team Leaders in liaising with departments to ensure supply of items is maintained.
• You maintain the accepted Health & Safety requirements for the protection of staff and visitors.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
