Job summary

Stephens Bakery in Dollar is seeking a Weekend Assistant to join our team on a 4-hour contract. You’ll deliver friendly service, keep the shop welcoming and well-stocked, and assist with displays, salad prep, deliveries, and cleaning. Weekend shifts (mornings to late afternoons) with weekday availability are required.

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and reliable Weekend Assistant to join our team. Please note:

This role requires weekday and weekend availability and is therefore not suitable for those in full-time education.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering friendly, helpful service to every customer – from taking orders and answering questions to having a good chat with regulars.
• Creating a welcoming, clean, and well-stocked shop environment that keeps customers coming back.
• Supporting with a range of shop tasks – including setting up displays, preparing fresh salad, handling deliveries, restocking and cleaning.
• Working flexible weekend shifts – mornings, afternoons, or late afternoons depending on the needs of the shop.
