Job summary

NUVIA is seeking a Package Manager to plan, coordinate and deliver projects at West Burton Power Station in Retford or Milton Park, Abingdon. This hybrid role requires 3 days on site and 40 hours per week in a permanent position, working within STEP fusion construction programs.

You will act as the central communication hub among stakeholders, teams, suppliers and senior leadership, owning schedules, budgets and governance through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Project management capability with proven delivery of complex projects.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to negotiate favorable contract terms.
• APM membership and working towards chartership.
• Demonstrated professional behaviour and compliance with legal and technical requirements.
• Minimum 3 years in Project Management as a Project/Senior Project Engineer.
• Experience in engineering or construction project delivery with proven management competence.

Responsibilities

• Delivery accountability for all aspects of project execution including scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Develop and implement Project Management Plan, governance, and controls.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and secure required resources.
• Establish and manage budgets, baselines, WBS, CBS and OBS structures.
• Oversee procurement, tendering, subcontract management and supplier performance.
• Monitor costs, schedule, risks, and change control; report progress to leadership.
• Lead project teams to ensure safety, quality and delivery objectives.
• Assess and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to proposals, bid planning and client engagements.
