Job summary

Step-Forward Fostering is recruiting Foster Carers to support children transitioning from residential care into a stable family home in Conwy, Wales. You will provide full-time care for a child or siblings, nurturing their emotional and social development and keeping records with professionals.

The role offers an enhanced annual fee of £52,000 (£1,000 per week) plus additional payments for the child and celebrations, with options for full-time or self-employed arrangements.

Qualifications

• Patience, empathy, and ability to provide a caring and dependable home environment for a child or young person.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time care for a child or sibling group moving from residential care.
• Offer stability, routine, and reassurance to the child.
• Support the child's emotional, behavioural, and social development.
• Work with social workers, therapists and other professionals.
• Keep clear records and provide therapeutic, nurturing support.
• Ensure the child maintains links to their wider family.
