Job summary

Step-Forward Fostering, operated with Foster Wales Conwy, seeks caring individuals or couples to join as Step-Forward Foster Carers in Conwy. You will provide full-time care for a child or sibling group, delivering stability and emotional support in a nurturing home.

Applicants must be 21+, have the right to work in the UK, a spare bedroom, and be able to provide full-time care. The role offers an enhanced annual fee of £52,000 (£1,000 per week) plus additional payments for the child.

Qualifications

• 21+ years or older
• Right to work in the United Kingdom
• Ability to provide full-time care for a child or siblings
• Spare bedroom(s) dedicated to fostering
• Experience supporting children or adults with complex needs or challenging behaviours

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time care for a child or sibling group
• Offer stability, routine and reassurance
• Support emotional, behavioural and social development
• Work with social workers, therapists and other professionals
• Keep clear records and provide nurturing support
• Maintain links to wider family
