Job summary

Ribbons & Reeves in Cambridge is recruiting for a First-Class STEM Graduate to support students in 1:1 sessions and small group interventions, boosting understanding and achievement in STEM subjects.

This full-time term-time role offers a long-term contract until July 2026, with potential to qualify as a teacher and gain QTS; you will work alongside outstanding teachers and lead practitioners to inspire the next generation.

Qualifications

• First-Class STEM-related degree from a Top 20 UK University.
• Child-centered experience is desirable.
• Ability to support students in STEM through targeted tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with students and in small groups to boost STEM understanding.
• Deliver well-structured, engaging lessons and revision guidance.
• Mentor students to improve exam performance and confidence.
• Help students prepare for examinations with effective revision strategies.
• Collaborate with experienced STEM teachers and lead practitioners.

Job Role

• Work closely with students in 1:1 sessions and small group interventions to boost understanding and achievement in STEM subjects.
• Providing guidance to students through well-structured and engaging lessons
• Mentor students to enhance their understanding of challenging concepts and improve exam performance.
• Help to prepare students for examinations, providing guidance on revision techniques and problem-solving strategies.
• Work alongside outstanding STEM Teachers and Lead Practitioners
